GP's (1989) Song of the Day: The Pixies

By Graeme Whitfield on Jun 4, 09 02:09 PM

Oh what a joy it is to live in a world where there is music by The Pixies!

Debaser is the opening song from their classic 1989 album Doolittle and is, like all good pop songs, inspired by a Salvador Dali/Luis Buñuel film in which a woman's eye is slit open by a razor.

Altogether now: "I am un...CHIEN andaloucian, I am un...CHIEN andaloucian..."
